An interactive introduction to the periodic table for primary-school children. Explore shows all 118 elements, color-coded by group; tapping one reveals its symbol, atomic number, standard atomic weight, period, group, category and a kid-friendly fact. Quiz is a short, randomized review round (10 mixed questions) with a light score and stars, designed to be replayed to check understanding.
Data sources. Atomic numbers, symbols, names and standard atomic weights follow the IUPAC Periodic Table (2021 standard atomic weights) and the Royal Society of Chemistry Periodic Table. Masses shown in [brackets] are the mass number of the most stable isotope, used for elements with no stable form. Category colors follow common IUPAC metal / metalloid / nonmetal groupings; super-heavy elements 109–118 are marked "unknown / predicted" because their chemistry is not yet measured.
Tips for learning
Start with the Common elements quiz, which uses everyday names children recognize (oxygen, iron, gold, helium). Use Explore between rounds to read the facts, then move up to All 118. Because questions and answer choices are shuffled every round, repeated play reviews understanding instead of memorizing one order.
